Writing Analytics and Streaks
Track your AI usage and build daily streaks.
Why track your usage
What gets measured gets managed. Most people have only a vague sense of how much they use AI, which platforms, and for what. Analytics turn that vague sense into clear numbers: messages per day, words written, platforms used, longest streak. The data often reveals patterns you did not expect.
Writing analytics are available on the Monthly and Lifetime plans. The dashboard lives in the sidebar and updates as you use each platform. Nothing is sent to our servers in plaintext — the counts are computed on your device from your own activity.
What the dashboard shows
The core metrics are messages sent, words written, and active days. You can see them per day, per week, or per month, and break them down by platform. A glance tells you whether you are ramping up, holding steady, or going through a quiet patch — useful for anyone who treats AI as a daily practice.
Beyond the headline numbers, the dashboard highlights your streak: the number of consecutive days you have used AI. A streak is a simple, motivating signal. It is not about hitting a high number for its own sake; it is about making a habit visible so you can choose to keep it or break it deliberately.
Building a streak that sticks
A streak grows by one each day you send at least one message to any supported platform. It resets to zero if you miss a day. The trick to a long streak is not heroic effort but a low floor: pick one small, useful AI task you can do every day — a morning summary, a daily journal prompt, a one-line code question — and let that anchor the streak.
Do not chase the number. A streak is a feedback signal, not a goal. If a streak breaks, the history is still there; you just start a new one. The value is in the days the streak helped you show up, not in the streak itself.
Using history to improve
Usage history lets you look back over time — 90 days on Monthly, 365 days on Lifetime. Patterns emerge over weeks that are invisible day to day: you may find you write more on certain platforms, that your output dips on weekends, or that a new workflow doubled your daily word count.
Use these insights to adjust. If one platform gets most of your use, that is where to invest in folders and prompts. If a workflow lifted your output, double down on it. Analytics are most valuable when they change a decision, not when they merely decorate a dashboard.
Privacy and your data
Analytics are computed locally from your activity in the browser. The counts and history sync to your account in encrypted form so they appear on your other devices, but the content of your conversations never enters the analytics pipeline. We see numbers, never words.
You can reset your analytics or clear your history at any time from the settings panel. Clearing history does not delete your conversations — it only resets the aggregate counts and the streak. Your chats and their organization are untouched.
